We will continue our service to displaced companion animals and those in danger of becoming shelter animals by finding foster homes or adoptive homes.

Over time, we need to set up a fund to be able to render aide with medical treatment, temporary boarding, and transportation to facilitate rehoming.

“The Humane Society (HSUS) estimates that animal shelters care for between 6-8 million dogs and cats every year in the United States, of whom approximately 3-4 million are euthanized”

Over 311 Million people live in the U.S. – there should not be any strays and abandoned animals. There should not be a need for “shelters.”

KASPA is in the process of filing for non-profit status. On April 3, 2012, the State of Texas has issued a certificate of formation for Killeen Association for Shelter Pet Assistance.
